Tintern cheese is a Welsh blended Cheddar cheese now made by Croome Cuisine in Worcester but invented by the Abergavenny Food Company. Tintern cheese is has a soft texture and is flavoured with shallots and chives. A vegetarian cheese, tintern is nice and tangy, it's a good one if you like your cheese with a little something added.If you're looking for a bit of colour on a wedding stack, this cheese comes covered in a dark green wax. A whole cheese weighs just over 1.5kg and is 18.5 cm wide, by 6cm high.
