Freya Wedding Cheese Cake, 4.1kg party cheese tower

The Freya cheese wedding cake is a great choice for an intimate gathering or as a birthday cheese tower.  At 4.1kg, this great cheese tower is perfect to feed 40 - 80, but you won't have masses left for a smaller group.

You will need to consider putting dowelling into the brie on this cake to hold up the rest if it is likely to be in a warm room or out for a long time.

Containing:

French 60% brie 1kg
Lovely French brie with added cream, rich and gentle in strength, pasteurised with traditional rennet

Godminster Cheddar 1kg
A lovely tasty Organic cheddar, really nice rounded mature flavour. Godminster is made with vegetarian rennet and pasteurised milk.

Half Baby Stilton 1.1kg
From the Colston Bassett Dairy, this is a beautiful Stilton.  Tasty but not too sharp, it's creamy and gorgeous.  Vegetarian and pasteurised, ok for pregnant people.

Baby Manchego 800g
Traditional nutty Spanish Ewe's milk cheese.  Great for a point of difference in the selection.  Allergen: Egg

Finn 200g
Finn is a wonderful cream enriched Herefordshire cheese. Pasteurised and vegetarian

ALLERGENS:EGG (The rind on the baby manchego's are washed in a solution containing egg white)

For a gathering we recommend 50 - 100g per person, depending if the cheese is to be eaten straight after the meal or later in the evening and with other food or by itself.  (So the lower amount it shows as feeding is based on 50g and the higher is 100g) We can very happily advise over email so drop us a line on info@mousetrapcheese.co.uk for ideas for a bespoke cheese board for your wedding or event.
