Cornish Kern Cheese, British Artisan hard cheese

Cornish Kern is a lovely fruity cheese with a great depth of flavour from the Lynher Dairy, makers of Cornish Yarg. British Artisan cheese, Cornish Kern however is a much more flavour-some offering than the delicate and beautiful Yarg. Cornish Kern is made in an Alpine style, it has the depths you would expect from a well aged Gouda, with a load of fruitiness reminiscent of a fine Comte and is nice and firm.   Matured for 16 months, it's certainly one to try if you haven't had the pleasure - and don't just take our word for it, Cornish Kern became Supreme Champion at the World Cheese Awards 2017.  Made with traditional rennet.
